The CLL Society is a non-profit founded by Dr. Brian Koffman, a leukemia survivor and physician, to help individualsand families affected by chronic lymphocytic leukemia find the best treatments by offering free expert access, education, research and peer to peer support.
Background:
Saul Levi , passed away from Leukemia April 15th, 2018, at 94 years old. Saul was my second chance at having a father -incredibly inspirational. He was a sailor in the Royal Indian Navy before he came to the U.S. to start work as a stock boy and go on to run operations at Westinghouse and become a serial entrepreneur. What is most striking about Saul is his integrity and his dedication to family. He has had a profound impact onour lives. Saul passed 12 years (to the day) after my father who also died of leukemia.
